1. What this site is, and what it is not

  • TopCheapInsurance is an independent comparison and information website. We publish general guides about auto, home and other insurance, and we provide ZIP code forms that lead to a partner quote request form.
  • We are not an insurance company, agent, broker or producer. We do not sell, quote, bind, underwrite or service insurance policies, and we do not handle claims.
  • Nothing on the site is legal, financial or insurance advice. Insurance needs differ from person to person. Before you buy or change a policy, check details with a licensed agent or insurer and with your state insurance department.

2. Accuracy of information

We take care to use reliable sources and to keep pages up to date. Still, laws, minimum requirements, prices and company details change, and averages do not predict your own premium. The content is provided "as is" for general information. We do not guarantee that it is complete, current or accurate. Where it matters, check the official source we link to.

3. Quote forms and partner websites

  • When you submit a ZIP code in one of our forms, you are sent to a quote form on quotesautoinsurance.org, a partner site. This happens either directly or through one of our quote pages. Your ZIP code, the quote type and referral and campaign information are passed in the page address. See our Privacy policy for details.
  • The partner website, and any insurers, agents or quote providers it works with, are independent of this site. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to anything you do or submit there. We are not responsible for their content, offers, availability, prices or practices.
  • Submitting a ZIP code does not guarantee that you will receive a quote, a particular price or coverage. Final prices and eligibility are set by insurers.
  • We may be paid when you request quotes through our forms. This does not change the price you are offered. See How we make money for details.

4. Brand names

Insurer names and logos mentioned on the site are trademarks of their owners. Using them does not mean that any insurer is affiliated with, endorses or sponsors TopCheapInsurance, unless we say so explicitly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose;
  • submit false, misleading or another person's information through any form linked from the site;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers or related systems, or interfere with how they work (for example with malware, excessive automated requests or security probing);

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TopCheapInsurance will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, its content or any partner website, even if we were told such damages were possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greatest of USD 100 or the amount you paid us to use the site (normally zero). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
